Mission of the Children’s Hands-On Museum 

The mission of the Children’s Hands‑On Museum of Northwest Illinois is to offer an accessible, affordable, interactive, and educational environment that will inspire children and families to learn about themselves and our culturally diverse world. The museum will provide a diverse, creative center for hands‑on learning through permanent and changing exhibits that will stimulate intellectual curiosity and exploration in children from all types of backgrounds.

Our new location includes over 6,000 square feet of interactive space. Subjects include:

• Art Smart
• Another Time, Another Place
• Medical Clinic
• Tot Spot
• Sensory Room
• Drama Stage
